Patient Details
This 43 year old woman consulted with us for a calf augmentation. She had polio as a child and her left calf was smaller than her right. The inner portion of her left calf did not have the same contour and shape as the other leg and this left her feeling self conscious. She avoided wearing skirts and shorts as a result. We placed a medial calf implant through a scar hidden in the back of her knee crease and further contoured her leg with fat grafting. At 4 months After the procedure, she was very happy and comfortable wearing clothing that did not hide her kegs.
