Patient Details
This 39 year old woman had undergone a breast reduction in the past that resulted in loss of her left nipple and areola and a large wound that required time to heal. She was self conscious about her breasts and they affected her self esteem. We performed a breast augmentation to both breasts with 450 cc silicone submuscular implants to even out the volume, a right breast lift and a complete nipple and areola reconstruction of her left breast. She later underwent tattooing for color match. At a year after surgery she felt whole again and was no longer ashamed and emotionally scarred from her prior surgery.
