Western eyelids have a higher level of union between the anatomy of the eyelid and the muscle that opens it, which permits the development of a crease.
In addition, tiny fibers linking this juncture to the eyelid skin allow for the development of a crease in Western eyelids. The connection between the muscle and the eyelid structure is weaker in Asian eyelids. Additionally, the eyelid has excess fat or puffiness.
